And it’s up. I’ll start penciling the next page tomorrow night. Maybe I’ll get something to post early next week, before I head to St. Louis for Bouchercon.

A bit of fantasy

I’m doing a library program this summer where I talk about drawing fantasy figures. The library asked if I had any samples they could use in a program, and I realized that I don’t! I usually draw on a white board or on paper that I give away to the kids. So I had a little fun.

Home improvement done, cartoon almost

The new new bathroom sink is working fine ( not leaking), but of course that exposes a whole new set of things to repair in there. That’s for later, though. Had a good time at the drink n draw Tuesday night. Met some new folks and got a page mostly done. I’m going to go finish it off this morning before we head out to the Wicker Park arts and crafts fest. Looks like it’ll be a nice day!

Fritzoid

This is my family’s dog Fritz. We adopted him from the pound about two years ago. At first, he seemed very docile. Then, his true nature came out – nuts. As daughter E says “Fritz doesn’t do multi-tasking.” But after all this time, he’s our dog and I’ll chronicle our lives with him on this blog.
