I started physical therapy for my knee yesterday. Finally. I really put this off too long. I know I did a lot of traveling in October, and work was very busy, but still – I can’t jog across the street without looking like someone from the Ministry of Silly Walks. So I’ve got a series of stretches and some killer knee bends to do twice a day. I’m actually looking forward to getting back in shape again – and having my mobility back to 100%.
Well, last Tuesday night I sprained my knee. Bad. I need an MRI to find out how bad, but for now I’m doing OK. I’ve got crutches and I’m trying to make sure I don’t injure it more. It’s wierd, though, I’m pretty lucky. I have a day job with benefits and aside from one sick day and some future time off for doctors appointments, it’s not going to keep me from work.
