Generally …

Morgan Wick isn’t able to read my post over at Webcomics.com, but that doesn’t stop him from commenting on it – always a bad move.
Speaking generally about long-form webcomics, I mentioned that they generally have fewer readers than shortform or gag cartoons. I’m not interested in debating this point, but generally think it’s true. Speaking generally, of course, doesn’t mean I’m not aware of successful comics like Girl Genius, nor does it mean I want long-form comics to NOT have lots of traffic.
Actually, the whole webcomics.com post was about setting goals for yourself if you do long form webcomics. When the site comes back up, it’s worth checking out.
