Cartooning in 2001

After the towers fell, I remember being in a yahoo group where people questioned if what we were doing – drawing cartoons on the internet – was appropriate anymore.
I said that not only was it appropriate but that it was necessary. We were attacked because of how we lived and what we were free to do.
It sounds like bin Laden spent the last few years of his life unable to live as he liked and without much freedom. Ironically, if he had lived in and embraced the freedoms available in the US, he could have had the freedom to practice his faith and lived.
Yay us.

Big book delivery tomorrow

I’m getting 13 of the last of approximately 20 boxes of “Cash & Carry” delivered tomorrow.

FedEx would just leave them on the porch, so I’m going to be home for the day.

They’ll deliver sometime between 8 am and 8 pm, so remember that next rime you’re complaining about the cable guy.

Now I just have to figure out where to put them. I’l be at ACEN in a few weeks. Stop by my table and help me get rid of boxes!

Great time at ACEN

Had a great time at ACEN this weekend. Met lots of great people and hung out with Dirk Tiede and Brian BMAN Babendererde

Didn’t just sell books, though. Finished pencils for page 145 and started on the next page after that. Here’s a preview:

Should have a new page up by Wednesday latest. Finally, there’s a new interview up with me, via War Kitten Review.

UPDATE: Ok, didn’t make THAT deadline. But I just uploaded a new page for tomorrow!

Glad it’s Friday

Oh boy, busy week. I have started inking the next page, however I’m also setting up the tent for the Mystery Writers at Printers Row.
I should be able to update this weekend, but not tonight.
We’re going to see “Back to the Future” on the big screen at a local movie theater tonight!
