Go read the new page of Children of the Revolution here!
Enough bad news about the economy and newspapers and comics.
In about a week I’ll be driving to Columbus for SPACE, I’ve got a bunch of events in May and Printer’s Row in June.
And I just got off the phone with Jon Jordan, editor of Crimespree Magazine, and I can’t wait to tell you about what’s happening in August.
It’s going to be a good summer!
We all have them – bookmarks in the deep recesses of our browser. Every week I’m going to share some of mine:
OK, now I’ve got most of the day off so I’m out with the daughters to visit the Art Institute of Chicago.
Children of the Revolution page up – link is to the left. Coming close to wrapping up Diangelo’s first day in this adventure.
This weeks’s links are all about the weekend – the Columbus, Ohio comicon called SPACE, that is.
I’ll be live-blogging SPACE right here throughout the weekend, so stop by to see what’s going on. Meanwhile, go read!
If you ever wondered what it’s like to be at a comiccon, read all about it this weekend as I live blog and twitter from SPACE, the Columbus Ohio con this weekend.
Today’s a travel day though – six hours on the road!
Brian and I have a small 6-foot table and exhibitors are slowly moving in. I’m going to try and take some photos for my facebook page – I’ll post them here later.
Comiccons have their own vibe. Wizard World is loud and frenetic. Fallcon is small but spunky.
SPACE seems to be quieter, like a conversation with an old friend. People take a long look around before buying.
Discerning readers – pretty cool.
Lot’s of poor college students too. Hopefully they check things out online.
